I graduated from the University of Tennesee with a Bachelor of Science  and a Master of Science and have taught Physical Education since about 1994. I am a member of NEA (National Education Association), AAHPERD (the National Physical Education Association), TAHPERD (the National Physical Education Association), and KAHPERD (the County Physical Education Association). I was selected as Teacher of the Year in 2002.

I enjoy playing soccer on a co-ed team, riding my motorcycle, playing all types of sports , and camping (especially with Mrs. Wayland). I am ASA certified in sailing and love to go keelboat and coastal cruising.

My husband and I have been married since 1996. My family also includes three older sisters, my mother, and my ten-year old lab, Lyle.
