I graduated from the University of Tennessee with a B.S. in Education and a minor in Early Childhood. I started teaching in 1981 with the Knox County System.
Kindergarten, second and third grades are the different areas I have worked with students.
I was very fortunate to have been at Ridgedale Elementary for twenty-four of those years. This is my first year at Amherst Elementary!
I have been married since 1984 to Mark Wolfe. He works for TVA in the Research and Technology Applications Section. We have a son who is in college.
I worked as a lifeguard for the University of Tennessee at Clyde-York 4-H Camp during my college years. I discovered I enjoyed teaching children how to swim and went into teaching. I have used these skills in helping others. I helped my husband with our teaching of Sunday- school and bible school at Concord United Methodist Church. I have helped assist our son with his church, soccer, and Boy-Scout projects. |
