Hi! My name is Wanda Denton. I teach preschool at Amherst Elementary School along with two assistants, Norma Hill and Trina Kinney. Mrs. Hill works full time and has been working with preschoolers since about 1991. Mrs. Kinney works with us part time  and she has been working as a teaching assistant since 2005.

I am from Bristol, TN. I graduated from ETSU with a double major in Special Education and Regular Education. I have taught in the areas of resource, TAG, second grade, and preschool.

I am married. My husband's name is Mark. We have two children. Tim is attending ETSU and majoring in Computer/Digital Media. Philip will be studying engineering in college.
