AAA Safety Patrol Trip information went home on December 21.  This year the cost will be $399.00 and the patroler's money must be turned into the 5th grade teachers by March 31, 2008.  The trip will be from Friday, May 30 - Monday, June 2, 2008.  Please see any 5th grade teacher for further information.

Students have been selected for Safety Patrol because of their exemplary behavior, conduct, and character.  The student will be expected to maintain this high level of conduct throughout his/her entire term of service.  The duration of service will be a minimum of one semester.  Safeties will be expected to:

  • Maintain an “A” in behavior from all teachers – including special areas. A “B” in behavior will result in probation for the following grading period.  A “C” in behavior will result in dismissal from Safety Patrol.
  • Maintain a “C” average in academic subjects.  A “D” or lower average will result in probation for the following grading period.
  • Maintain an “E” or “S” in work habits.
  • A PAC assignment or detention assignment will result in probation.  Repeated PAC or detention assignments, bus suspension, or school suspension will result in dismissal from Safety Patrol.
  • Arrive and leave on time for morning and afternoon duty.
  • While on duty, take your job seriously – no horseplay or socializing.
  • Only wear your belt while on duty – not throughout the day.  Never wear your belt so the strap hangs down around your waist.
