Mrs. Brooks is a 1986 graduate of Liberty University where she majored in
Music Education with Choral emphasis.

Mrs. Brooks has taught previously for Knox County at Bearden Middle
School. However, for the last several years she has taught private piano
and voice lessons so that she could be at home with her five children.
Yes, she and her husband, Sam Brooks, have five children: Sarah, a senior
in high school, Jonathan, a freshman in high school, Paul, in second
grade, Josiah, in K-4, and Jeremiah who is two years old.

Mrs. Brooks is also very active in her church, Southside Baptist Church,
where her husband serves as associate pastor and she as the church
pianist.

She looks forward to many happy hours at Amherst Elementary teaching
children to love music as she does
